
Lupe Fiasco is a supremely talented rapper from Chicago who put out 2006's Food & Liquor, one of the best rap debuts of the last several years. This November 21st, he's putting out his second album, entitled The Cool. According to Lupe, the album is based on his alter-ego, the character whom he raps about in F & L's song called "The Cool."
The Cool will feature production from Lupe's First & Fifteenth record label cohorts, notably Soundtrakk. I really dug Soundtrakk's work on Lupe's debut, and I think this album will garner him with a lot more (deserved) attention as a rising star in hip-hop.
The first single is entitled "Superstar" and features Mathew Santos on vocals. Enjoy.
